19 of everything

The story begins with a visit to an art shop supplier: I was looking for stickers to make a silly poster because I know my limitations and sticking things are fun. I came back with transfer letters -Letraset style- and started scratching them on nice paper (after shouting WTF, these are not stickers!) But curiosity not only killed the cat but took me to acrylic markers. And then to letterpress. And now to screen printing.

So, after several months of finding time to learn (still taming that beast) the art of making art, I’m creating a bunch of silly, odd prints. Oddly, I’ve started with only 19 copies of each edition: I like odd numbers and it’s definitely not my age. And as a good friend asked me: Is it about COVID? My answer was no. But unconsciously it is.

My worked has been shown in a few galleries, exhibitions, and the Affordable Art Fair in London and Stockholm. And now 24/7 in the link below.
