My mum loved football. I was born nineteen days after the end of the World Cup in 1982. My middle name is Armando.

My eldest daughter was born a few hours after I got back from Cannes in 2015. By pure coincidence, she shares her name with an ad agency.

My recipe for plain white rice and two fried eggs made it into a cookbook.

I can pronunce Worcestershire sauce correctly.

I like to name things. Sometimes I get paid for it.

I was named one of the 50 Brand Pioneers by JWT Worldwide in 2009. I got a Flip Video camera as a reward. Neither exists any more.

I’ve lived next to the Hell’s Angels in Hackney for more than 10 years. Of all my neighbours, they are the most polite.
