In 2010 I arrived in London from Lima looking for the sweetest experience of my life. However, this amazing city also has a very bitter side and I tasted plenty of it. That is why I started writing about my good and bad experiences on a blog called Aeroplein, receiving feedback from loyal readers around the world.

In 2013, the project turned into a book of 25 short stories with the title ‘Marmite City’ and illustrations by the artist Luke Furniss.

“Here’s a short, no-holds barred list of things which, like Marmite in the morning, I can either love or hate about this city which, for me, sometimes tastes of Nutella and at other times, of yeast extract.”
